Board Care and Maintenance

After use:

• Wash board with warm soapy water

• Rinse it clean

• Wipe off any excess water with a soft cloth

• Set to dry in a rack in vertical upright position.

Do Not:

• Marinate board in water

• Put it in the dishwasher

• Use harsh cleaning solutions

• Lay wet board flat to dry, the uneven drying will warp your board

Maintenance:

Once a month, or sooner if your board is starting to fade and look dry. You can apply an even coat of food grade mineral oil, Let it absorb and buff off any excess oil with micro fiber cloth. You could also purchase a cutting board wax/board conditioner and follow the instructions on the label. There are many brands out there that are easily accessible for purchase.

Think of your board like your hair or skin, when its dry you either need to apply lotion or conditioner to bring it back to life.

If you follow these quick simple steps, your board will last you a lifetime.
